We’ve answered some of the most common questions we receive. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, feel free to reach out, we’re here to help.
Becoming a member is simple. Just visit our membership page, choose the option that best fits you, and complete the online registration form.
Once you’ve signed up, you’ll get access to PEIBWA programs, events, resources, and our community of women in business across Prince Edward Island.
If you’re not sure which membership is right for you, feel free to reach out! We’re happy to help you find the best fit.
Our programs run in cycles throughout the year, each with its own application window. When a program is open, you’ll find the full details, eligibility requirements, and an Apply Now button right on its page under the Programs menu.
Most programs, including Micro-Grants, are open to current PEIBWA members in good standing, so make sure your membership is active before you apply. Not a member yet? Joining takes just a few minutes.
The best way to hear about new application windows is to subscribe to our newsletter and follow us on social media, we announce every opening there. And if you have questions about whether a program is right for you, reach out to us at office@peibwa.org. We’d love to help.
Absolutely! Most PEIBWA events (mixers, workshops, and our annual Symposium) are open to everyone, and we’d love to have you join us.
You can register right on the event page: choose your tickets, enter your name and email, and check out. No account or membership required.
That said, members enjoy discounted pricing on many events, and some sessions are free for members. If you’re planning to come out more than once or twice a year, a membership often pays for itself, and it’s a wonderful way to stay connected to the community in between events.
We’d love to work with you! Our Corporate Partner Membership is designed for businesses that want to support women entrepreneurs on PEI while building meaningful connections with our community.
Partners receive year-round recognition on our website, social media, and monthly newsletter, plus the opportunity to present a workshop to our members, and first right of refusal on sponsoring our signature events, like the PEIBWA Symposium, which draws over 250 attendees each year.
